Santos, Punter, UPENN named CSFL Special Teams Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA – Penn sprint football kicker, Raiam Dos Santos, was named CSFL Special Teams Player of the Week, following an exciting, 20-12, win against Army last weekend.

Santos punted seven times for 314 yards. His longest punt of the day went for 57 yards. Five of Santos’ kicks were downed inside the 20-yard line forcing the Black Knights to start their offensive drives deep in Army territory throughout much of the game.

Santos and the rest of the Quakers are headed to Ithaca, N.Y. to play Ivy foe, Cornell, on Friday night. The Red and Blue have already routed the Big Red once this season – 17-3, Sept. 19 on Franklin Field.
