TKS Kicker of the Year Announced
In 2006, The Kicking System established the Kicker of the Year award. This award, presented for a number of years by TKS, is given annually to the top place-kicker and punter as determined by a voting panel of TKS Staff, professional kicking coaches and previous winners. Last years winners were co-winners, which included Travis Golia and David Seawright, both who played as freshman in the Pac-10, at Stanford and Cal respectively. In 2006, Brad Greenway, who now is kicking for Cornell University, won the award. The award also takes into account, how the kickers have established themselves as a student-athlete, community service as well as their performance for on the field.
TKS Kicker of The Year – Jason Myers, Mater Dei HS. Jason impressed TKS coaches all spring and summer. To add to his resume, Jason racked up over 8 TKS compeitions over the past year at Sunday classes or combines. His quiet yet confident character set the standard for numerous competitions and raised the bar in many instances.

JASON MYERS TKS KICKER OF THE YEAR
TKS Punter of The Year – Bobby Wenzig, Westview HS. Bobby gas a 3.75 GPA, and 12/15 FG’ this past year. – 41.0 yard punting average. Bobby had arguably the best kicking season in San Diego in the last three years. I have had the opportunity to watch Bobby this season, his professionalism to the game is unmatched.
