Turner Grabs CIAA Kicker of the Week AGAIN!

Austin Turner, a sophomore kicker, was named the CIAA’s Speciality Player of the Week for the second time this season after connecting on 3-of-4 field goal attempts against BSU last week. “A native of San Diego, Turner made a 49-yard field goal – his longest of the season – and punted six times for 230 yards. The 49-yard field goal was the longest in FSU history. The previous record of 47 yards, was shared by John Highsmith and Darrell Armstrong. Of those six punts, Turner knocked three inside the 20-yard line.
